A .knolo file is a portable image. It mounts and answers on a machine that is not on the network.
Research application: a mission corpus — notes, reports, exported tracks, sensor logs — packed so a ground station or vehicle can query it with the link down.

Deterministic lexical retrieval returns spans, a plan hash, and a read receipt. The same question against the same image is replayable.
Research application: telemetry exports, written reports, and indicators imaged together, so a result names which source it used. This is evidence over several source classes. It is not a tracker, a radar pipeline, or a map engine.

Tools are default-deny. A side effect needs an approval or a capability record. The shipping runtime adds write receipts and run receipts on the same file.
Research application: the agent proposes from the image. A person approves anything that leaves the image. The approval is part of the record.

Isolation work already mounts a class-labeled image in infrastructure the customer controls, with customer-owned keys. The file can be hashed and checked without phoning home.
Research application: the same pattern on a vehicle node or a field computer. If the check fails, the file is not the artifact that was shipped.
How Knolo enables this
V6.2.0 is the runtime this company ships: a Knowledge Image and a ledger for knowledge, policy, memory, authority, and agent runs. V4 files remain the portable line — deterministic lexical evidence, receipts, and local execution.
The research question is whether that same artifact can travel into a vehicle, a tent, or a ground station and still say what was known, what was used, and what was allowed.

An overlay can show tracks and a picture from an aircraft. Authority for anything that leaves the image stays with the operator. These frames are simulated studies for the page, for a deck, or for a conversation. They are not operational footage.
We will not engineer weapons release, autonomous engagement, or classified processing. Pictures on this page are conceptual. A person remains the authority for any action that leaves the image.
